Our History
Southern Pressure Testers Ltd. is a pressure testing service based in Gull Lake Saskatchewan. Formed in 2003, the company is locally owned and operated by four Saskatchewan based partners. Each partner represents a career’s worth of experience in virtually every facet of the oil and gas industry. In 2008 we expanded to include services to the production side of the industry. We are fully equipped and certified to service Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Our Mission
Southern Pressure Testers Ltd. is committed to the health and safety of all employees, contractors, clients, the public, and the environment. The ultimate goal of our health and safety program is to have an accident free environment and protection from accidental loss.
SPT considers safety a number one priority for its job sites and personnel. Therefore we work under / comply with the industry standards set out by CAPP and CAODC. Our commitment to safety is evident in the education and training provided to new and existing staff, which includes a minimum of H2S, First Aid & CPR, WHIMS, TDG, PST, client orientations, safe work procedures/JHA’s and hazard identification and control. Specialized training is supplied dependant on the worker’s position. (BOP, Fall Arrest, Incident & accident reporting and investigation, etc.)
SPT’s safety program promotes safe work practices and ethics, teaching our employees job responsibilities in a safe work environment. As part of the safety program, field employees arriving on location hold a pre-job safety meeting with on-site personnel. Equipment is kept in good repair and is inspected and certified according to industry standards and government regulations. PPE is issued and inspected regularily
SPT has current COR certification and is registered with ISN, Complyworks and Avetta organizations.We have WCB accounts in good standing in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.We carry 5 million in commercial liability and automobile insurance.
